About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled TS Systems Engineer to join our team at lxbfYeaa. As a key member of our 24x7 IT Operations Center (OCC) team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our large computer networks, servers, and applications from a central location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: You will be working in a high-pressure environment with shifting priorities, and you must be able to assess situations and determine tactical steps forward.
  • Infrastructure Management: You will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and deploying network and server infrastructures, including diagnosing server or network alerts, events, or issues.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: You will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, including experience with Disaster Recovery plans, Backup restoration tests, and related technologies.
  • Communication and Teamwork: You will be working closely with other team members to address conflicts constructively and ensure effective communication.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: You must be flexible to work in schedule (24 x 7) shifts and be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in computer sciences or a related field, with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, preferably in an IT services industry.

  • Education and Certifications: You must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent qualification, and have relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL V3 Certification.
  • Technical Skills: You must have hands-on experience in managing Windows or Linux operating system servers, and have knowledge of Microfocus Service Manager and Microfocus Monitoring Suite.
  • Soft Skills: You must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, and be able to work successfully as part of a team under pressure.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Internal Candidates: You must have completed a minimum of 10 months in your current role and have no active final warning letters.
  • External Candidates: You must have a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, preferably in an IT services industry.
