Refractory Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Refractory Supervisor to join our team at AsiaPower. The successful candidate will have a strong background in refractory maintenance and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate refractory maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement refractory maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential refractory issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining, or Oil & Gas industry with a focus on refractory maintenance
• API-936 qualification and a minimum Diploma in any discipline engineering (e.g. ceramic technology, civil, mechanical)
• Proven experience in refractory work, including casting/pouring, gunning, and ramming
• Strong understanding of HSE issues and ability to maintain a safe working environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
