About the Role:

The Contracts Engineer will be responsible for providing pre-award and post-contract administration support to our client in Qatar.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of contractual responses to Change Order Requests, claims, and other related correspondence, ensuring compliance with agreements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create, monitor, and update demand plans to maximize department performance.
  • Guide end users on contract-related risks and best practices to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Support post-award dispute administration, including negotiation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare management information reports through data collection and submit them to management for review.
  • Offer advice and expertise to other disciplines and stakeholders on contract and claims management to maximize efficiency.
  • Administer contract work orders, including tendering bids, contract award, facilitating change orders, and providing post-award support for operational and execution effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 6 years' experience in contracts management within the oil and gas and petrochemical industry.
  • Technical knowledge in reviewing and finalizing various technical contracts.
  • Good understanding of contract laws and industry practices.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office) and proficiency in software applications and SAP modules.
