We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Ali Bin Ali. As a key member of our Ophthalmology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective provisioning, installation, commissioning, and handover of biomedical equipment in hospitals, clinics, and health centers.

You will use your technical expertise to ensure effective service and maintenance of under-service contracts and assigned biomedical equipment as per company guidelines and manufacturer's recommendations. Your goal is to integrate mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer skills to keep medical equipment up and running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address customer complaints and issues on medical equipment in a timely manner.
  • Identify medical equipment specifications, conduct installations, and provide training to end-users.
  • Perform planned and unplanned preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team on customer issues and pre-installation requirements.
  • Complete documentation and service reports, and participate in department planning and strategies to achieve company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Zeiss Certification is preferred.
  • Computer knowledge or certification is beneficial.
  • Valid GCC driving license is required.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in the Biomedical Field with Ophthalmology Medical lines experience.
