Job Title: Structural Design Engineer Leader

At EGEC, we are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and constructing safe and durable structures that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and analyze the configurations of structural components to ensure they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects and other designers to develop safe and aesthetically pleasing designs.
  • Develop and direct project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Apply expert knowledge of structural forces and materials to ensure the integrity of structures.
  • Manage and supervise a team of structural engineers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in structural design and engineering, with a strong background in building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
