Job Description

  • The primary role of the faculty members at the College of Computing and IT is to promote high-quality innovative teaching, applied research, and services.
  • Responsibilities include developing, delivering, and evaluating a broad range of courses within Data Science and Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate programs in Data Science and Cyber Security.
  • Developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with industry needs and standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve departmental and college goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD and a master's degree in data science and cyber security or closely related field from an internationally recognized university with an undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a post-secondary, adult training or industry training environment, along with preferably 3 years of employment experience as a practitioner/professional within the relevant discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Certification in Cyber Security.
  • Diploma in Education (e.g. Post-secondary Education, Adult Education or Vocational Education) is preferred.
