At Climbing Mountains, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

About the Role

The Chef de Cuisine will be accountable for the overall success of daily kitchen operations, supervising a team of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation. This individual will lead shifts while personally preparing food items and executing requests based on required specifications.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
  2. Lead Shifts and Prepare Food: Lead shifts while personally preparing food items and executing requests based on required specifications.
  3. Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with all food handling and sanitation standards, recognizing superior quality products, presentations, and flavor.
  4. Train Employees: Train employees in safety procedures and ensure they understand expectations and parameters.
  5. Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, handle guest problems and complaints.
  6. Manage Human Resource Activities: Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
