We are looking for an experienced and qualified Culinary Operations Manager to lead the kitchen activities for a prestigious Italian restaurant in Qatar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation process and ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Management: Direct and control the food preparation process, manage inventory, and plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to create menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring variety and quality of servings.
  • Quality Control: Approve and polish dishes before they reach the customer, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and contentment.
  • Staff Management: Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff, oversee their workload and compensation, and maintain records of payroll and attendance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Head Chef or Sous chef in an Italian restaurant setting.
  • Exceptional ability in kitchen management, division of responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Credentials in health and safety training, and a degree in Culinary science or related certificate.
