Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Lighting Design Team: The Senior Lighting Design Engineer will lead a team of lighting designers and engineers to develop innovative lighting solutions that meet aesthetic, functional, and technical requirements.
  2. Develop Lighting Designs: The candidate will be responsible for creating lighting designs for major infrastructure and building projects, including master plans, load calculations, and tie-in point requirements.
  3. Manage Stakeholder Coordination: The Senior Lighting Design Engineer will coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and utility agencies, to ensure project excellence and timely completion.
  4. Mentor Technical Teams: The candidate will mentor junior engineers and designers to develop their skills and knowledge in lighting design and electrical engineering.
  5. Coordinate with Utility Agencies: The Senior Lighting Design Engineer will coordinate with utility agencies to obtain design approvals and ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  6. Prepare Design Reports: The candidate will prepare design reports, specifications, and tender documents for different project phases, including coordination with clients and authorities.
  7. Review and Approve Technical Submittals: The Senior Lighting Design Engineer will review and approve technical submittals related to lighting and electrical works, including materials submissions and approvals.
  8. Value Engineering: The candidate will conduct value engineering for various technical options and prepare value engineering reports with recommendations.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience: 12 years of relevant experience in electrical design of large infrastructure projects, including street lighting networks, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar senior electrical engineer position.
  3. Skills: Strong infrastructure engineering background, knowledge of National Electrical Code, IEEE, ANSI, IESNA, NFPA, and IEC, and experience in civil 3D, Navisworks, and BIM software.
  4. Language: English (en-US)
