Job Summary

This role is a senior-level position responsible for leading subsea systems engineering activities, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of subsea flowlines and pipelines.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of detailed project scopes, specifications, and schedules for subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  4. Evaluate and select suitable technologies and materials for subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  5. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  7. Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and reducing costs in subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  8. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in subsea engineering.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in subsea engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex subsea projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Additional languages are an asset.
