Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met
  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to identify discrepant rooms
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinating with other departments
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
  • Prepare and distribute changes in room assignments and communicate with next shift
  • Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of related work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and quality standards
