About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with a strong background in Laravel and WordPress, particularly in developing custom plugins and Elementor modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced server-side web applications in Laravel.
  • Create, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes.
  • Develop custom modules for Elementor using their official guidelines.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Monitor, identify, and address scalability and performance issues.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for developed applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in backend development with a strong understanding of PHP and Laravel framework.
  • Extensive experience in WordPress plugin development.
  • Familiarity with Elementor and the ability to create custom modules for it.
  • Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web service integrations.
