Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction phase of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project planning and scheduling to identify potential construction slippage and optimize contractor resources.
  • Endorse construction method statements, pre-commissioning procedures, and as-built drawings.
  • Assist with contractor mobilization and demobilization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project safety plans, and environmental regulations.
  • Control and endorse work permits for project work.
  • Inspect construction works and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve site issues and refer technical queries to senior construction supervisors.
  • Update construction progress reports and verify contractor progress statements.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings and prepare punch lists.
  • Coordinate pre-commissioning activities and assist with commissioning of facilities.
  • Initiate completion certificates and facilitate project completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 12 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on electrical installations.
  • Proven experience in implementing construction industry best practices, systems, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, including materials, methods, and specifications.
  • Ability to interpret methods statements, construction schedules, and drawings.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with multinational contractors.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) / NFPA 70, IEC, or equivalent standards.
