About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of demand planning and inventory management principles. As a Demand Planning Manager at Ali Bin Ali, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce inventory costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Demand Planning Strategies: Create and execute demand planning models to forecast customer demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Manage Inventory Levels: Analyze sales trends and inventory levels to ensure that stock levels are optimized and non-performing inventories are minimized.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure that demand planning strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze and Improve Processes: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that demand planning strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide Insights and Recommendations: Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management on demand planning strategies and supply chain optimization opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data and develop effective demand planning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of ERP or inventory planning software and advanced Microsoft skills.
  • Leadership and management skills to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
