About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead Engineer to join our team at K20s - Kinetic Technologies Private Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining information security management within the Infrastructure & Network and continuing security controls to maintain an adequate cybersecurity posture within the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, and service operation teams to ensure the security of the SJC IT infrastructure, network, and service operations.
  2. Coordinate with vendors to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for infrastructure and network.
  3. Work with Cybersecurity Engineer – governance and risk management to maintain infrastructure & network security management policies/procedures and risk management.
  4. Assist in developing, implementing, and managing the overall enterprise process for information security and associated architecture standards such as ISO 27001, NIA, cybersecurity law, privacy management law, and Qatar 2022 cybersecurity requirements.
  5. Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions (including incidents involving outside vendors).
  6. Follow cybersecurity incident management and incident response plans.
  7. Serve as part of the security incident response planning and execution.
  8. Assist Risk Management, Internal Audit, and IT departments in developing criteria needed to assess the level of new/existing applications and/or technology infrastructure elements for compliance with enterprise security standards.
  9. Review infrastructure and/or technology environments during development or acquisition to assure compliance with corporate security policies and assist in the overall integration process regarding SJC IT's technology environment.
  10. Evaluate information security KPIs based on the Information Security/privacy Objectives and review those KPIs based on changes in security objectives.
  11. Maintain Infrastructure and network to support the organization's information security/privacy policies and procedures and ensure timely updates in light of changing circumstances/best practices/regulatory directives.
  12. Conduct security assessments to maintain an adequate security posture within the SJC IT Environment.
  13. Improve security operation center monitoring based on new cybersecurity environments and attacks.
  14. Work with the Head of Information Security to coordinate with MOI security shield and maintain the NCSOC onboarding and continuity of connectivity.
  15. Work with the Head of Information Security to coordinate with the MPTO team and maintain Qatar 2022 implementations based on the agreed roadmap.
  16. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Information Security Lead related to environment infrastructure & network changes, incidents, problems, service operations, and critical areas.
Requirements
  1. University Degree in Information Technology with MSc. in Information Security/Cybersecurity from a recognized university is a plus.
  2. Certifications in Information Security such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CBCP, GIAC, ISO27001LA, CCNA-security, MCSE-security.
  3. Offensive security certifications CEH and CHFI are a plus.
Preferred Experience
  1. Minimum 5-8 years of experience, of which a minimum of 5 years should be in a similar position/responsibility.
