BIM Specialist

At Brunel Qatar, we are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our team. As a BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our projects, working closely with our BIM Specialist and BIM Coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology.

• Develop and deliver high-quality BIM models and drawings for projects, ensuring compliance with standards and project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to produce 3D information models and drawings with minimal supervision.
• Assist the BIM Specialist and BIM Coordinator in the BIM delivery for projects within the Department.
• Conduct quality assurance of BIM submissions or designs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and model discipline-specific BIM objects for projects in coordination with the Engineering Services Department.
• Export BIM models to different formats to collaborate internally and externally.

• Diploma in Engineering or an academic degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in BIM projects and software, with at least 4 years of experience in BIM projects and software.
• Experience of working in Roads and Drainage Infrastructure projects for a minimum of 4 years, with a range of experience in terms of types of projects (local roads and expressways) including all design stages (concept and detailed design) and employers (consultants and contractors).
• In-depth knowledge of BIM procedures with good understanding of integration from/to BIM with other applications.
• Technically proficient in all aspects of BIM and experience in multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Ability to work to deadlines set by the BIM Specialist and BIM Coordinator.
• Eagerness to learn with the potential to develop into the role of BIM Coordinator.
