**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Geologist to join our team at Qatar Energy. As a key member of our exploration and development department, you will play a vital role in monitoring, controlling, and supervising geological and geophysical activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate and control geological, geophysical & petrophysical data collection for oil & gas wells of all hydrocarbon resources.
  • Analyze and evaluate data to establish suitable geological models for simulation.
  • Review and assess geological and geophysical studies and reports.
  • Monitor drilling activities and ensure compliance with standards and QP approved department policies.

**Requirements:**

  • B.Sc. degree in Geology or Geophysics with extensive petroleum geology training.
  • At least 15 years of experience as a Geologist with broad knowledge in geophysics, seismic and well log interpretation, well completion and workover activities.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
