* Implement and ensure regular tours of the back of the house with the Executive Chef/Chief Steward and duty engineer
* Conduct weekly kitchen walk-throughs to review minutes and outstanding issues, dish washing control points
* Implement and ensure involvement in Food Safety training for food handlers
* Evaluate the efficiency of training from chemical suppliers
* Conduct refresher training for food handlers
* Implement and ensure a checklist for food preparation/storekeeper/cost control/stewarding/food production
* Prepare monthly reports on food safety training and lab test results
* Verify CCP records and receiving records and match with health certificates for imported items
* Follow up on food sampling and original certificates
* Gather relevant information for alleged foodborne illnesses
* Ensure internal audits are completed for the month
* Verify records of reported sickness of food handlers and status of their health checkups
* Verify all files, including stewarding and engineering files (PM, calibration, chiller monitoring, etc.)
* Conduct FSMS meetings for trainings, audits, and briefings on a monthly basis
Qualifications:
* Prior experience working in a high-risk environment
* Formal qualification in occupational health and safety or related field
* Sound knowledge of Health and Safety CCP procedures and its application in the workplace
* Proven experience in worker engagement, contractor management, incident management, training and competency, risk management, machinery safety, hazardous substances, traffic management, audit programming, and occupational hygiene
* Strong relationship building, influencing, and problem resolution skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks through good time management and organization skills
* Professional, proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
