Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy across various channels, including print, media, events, and online platforms.
* Lead the implementation of digital and social content strategy across multiple channels for internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the development of QRDI's brand equity and work on establishing brand guidelines to support our critical role in delivering Qatar's National RDI vision and goals.
* Provide advice and guidance to employees and business partners on maintaining brand standards, application, and execution.
* Oversee the development of digital and/or print promotional and communication materials for the organization.
* Plan, prepare, and distribute original promotional content, including articles, news, press releases, email, blog, and social media posts.
* Organize, promote, and execute special events and functions to promote and report on milestones and key activities.
* Oversee the development of QRDI's Internal Communications plan to keep employees engaged and contribute to overall productivity increase and minimize turnover.
* Facilitate connections with relevant media organizations and figures to advocate for QRDI's strategic goals and vision.
* Evaluate the impact of communications on business results and ensure communications initiatives are strategically sound and consistent with QRDI's brand equity.
* Assess the effectiveness of corporate communications processes and services and recommend possible enhancements.
* Drive leading-edge use of visual media, including video productions, photography, interactive digital features, and infographics.
* Work with RDI programs directors to explore collaboration opportunities through high-level presence in international conferences, exhibitions, and frequent in-person meetings with key personnel.
* Spearhead the delivery and management of QRDI Engagement and Outreach programs/projects' plans, ensuring established processes are followed, and delivering all projects on strategy, on time, and on budget.
* Develop crisis communications plans as needed.
* Incorporate lessons learned into current and future projects/programs.
* Provide input and work on cross-functional plans/projects/programs/initiatives; understand QRDI's function disciplines on how they link together to deliver integrated solutions.
* Develop and manage good working relationships and maintain open dialogue with key internal/external business partners and stakeholders to ensure adequate execution of project deliverables.
* Stay informed on national and regional RDI developments and emerging trends to deliver effective relevant communications.

Requirements:

* Master's degree in a relevant field, 8-10 years of full-time work experience in Communications Management, PR, Journalism.
* Excellent communications and public speaking skills to represent QRDI Council in conferences and events.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
