Housekeeping Supervisor

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Allocating work duties to Team Members and ensuring they are adequately trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
  • Conducting regular inspections of all check-out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Reporting and following up on any maintenance defects or other issues that may impact guest satisfaction or hotel operations.
  • Inspecting and maintaining service areas, store rooms, and corridors to ensure they are clean, well-organized, and meet hotel brand standards.
  • Scheduling and supervising deep cleaning and other projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Managing and training Room Attendants and other Team Members to ensure their performance meets the required standards and contributes to the overall success of the hotel.
  • Managing stock control and equipment maintenance to ensure they are adequate and functioning properly.
  • Providing exceptional guest service, including VIP and other special requirements, to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
  • Ensuring adherence to hotel brand standards at all times and maintaining a culture of excellence within the Housekeeping department.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a similar hotel environment.
  • A successful track record of managing a team and achieving results through effective leadership and communication.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • An attention to detail to ensure high standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with Team Members, guests, and other hotel departments.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service and contributing to the overall success of the hotel.
  • Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office, to effectively manage tasks and communicate with Team Members.
