Job Summary:
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Assistant to support the implementation of hygiene promotion and distribution activities in the CAS transit camp. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Officer and Senior Project Assistant to plan and execute hygiene promotion and community participation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning and implementation of hygiene promotion and community participation activities.
- Conduct household visits and facilitate hygiene awareness sessions.
- Distribute hygiene promotion materials and facilitate Menstrual Hygiene Sessions for women and girls.
- Ensure environmental cleanliness and conduct IYCF awareness sessions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, community development, or a related field, with experience in hygiene promotion and distribution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team of professionals. The position requires flexibility and adaptability, with a strong commitment to the principles of the International Organization for Migration.
Language:
