The Main Purpose Of Your Role Is ToWe seek a skilled Procurement/Supply Chain Lead to join our team and ensure efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods while maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to brand standards.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include- Developing Strategies: Developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to support operational requirements while aligning with brand guidelines.
- Sourcing and Supplier Management: Sourcing, selecting, and onboarding suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements to optimize cost and quality.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborating with the brand's headquarters and franchise management to align on procurement objectives, supplier selection, and product specifications.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends to ensure competitive advantage.
- End-to-End Procurement: Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and forecasting inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Finance, and Quality Assurance, to align procurement activities and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Implementing and maintaining a supplier performance evaluation system, regularly reviewing supplier performance, quality, and service levels.
- Compliance and Logistics: Ensuring compliance with local regulations, including product quality standards, import/export requirements, and documentation. Optimizing logistics and distribution processes, coordinating with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing initiatives to improve overall procurement efficiency.
- Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and conducting periodic supplier performance reviews.
- Industry Knowledge: Staying updated on industry trends and innovations, recommending process improvements and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
