Job Title: Commis Bakery Pastry

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Commis Bakery Pastry to join our team at The St. Regis Doha. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing special meals, regulating oven temperatures, and maintaining food logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure optimal cooking results.
  • Maintain accurate food logs to track inventory and quality control.
  • Communicate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock items.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
