Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect and Project Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale architectural projects from conceptual design through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct project teams to ensure seamless project delivery, while maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, track progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to address potential delays or issues.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated financial resources, and report on financial forecasts and cost control.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, specifications, progress reports, and quality assurance plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards, specifically those relevant to the Qatar construction environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, supervision, and consultancy, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
  • MMUP (Municipal Planning and Urban Development Authority) and UPDA Grade A certification is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale architectural projects from design through to completion, including all phases of project management (planning, design, construction, and delivery).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and implement cost control strategies.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and building codes specific to Qatar.
Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is QR1,200,000 - QR1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
