Job Summary

The Aviation Project Director will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves developing detailed project plans, coordinating internal resources and third parties, and managing changes to the project scope and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential project risks.

Requirements

To be successful as an Aviation Project Director, you should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as project management or business administration.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
