Park Operations Coordinator

Qatar Museums Doha is seeking a highly skilled Park Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of MIA Park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Operations: Coordinate the maintenance of MIA Park area, including MEP works, children's playgrounds, irrigation pump rooms, park fountains, kiosks, and park toilets.
  • Contractor Management: Monitor contractors' day-to-day progress and coordinate daily activities associated with property and park equipment maintenance.
  • Event Support: Assist in managing and operating all MIA Park operations, events, activities, programs, and contracts.
  • Site Walkthroughs: Arrange site walkthroughs with all MIA Park contractors, suppliers, and event management companies.
  • Financial Management: Coordinate and follow up with FM-Planning team for new projects, MWR's, and contractors' invoices.
  • Security and Access: Assist in arranging security access to any delivery to MIA Park area, such as park contractors, park food trucks, and event organization.
  • Third-Party Monitoring: Oversee and assist in monitoring activities carried out by third-party contractors in MIA Park.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate with QM-Event Team for any events held in MIA Park.
  • Park Activities: Coordinate with QM-IN-Q for operating the park food trucks and park activities.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Coordinate with cleaning contractors to ensure cleaning standards are maintained at the highest level.
  • Progress Reports: Coordinate and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for all park contractors related operations at the park area.
  • Equipment and Systems: Assist in maintaining the MIA Park area, operating systems, and coordinate with park contractors' service providers to maintain the area and uphold responsibilities.
  • Issue Identification: Assist in identifying issues, recommending, and implementing strategies for the protection of park resources.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
  • System Review: Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, fire/life safety, and other systems.
  • Outdoor Work: Most of the job duties will be performed outside.
