Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Organization in Huntsville, Alabama. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring fair and competitive agreements.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance, ensuring optimal business outcomes.
  • Supplier Development: Develop and execute supplier improvement activities, integrating results into contracting strategies to drive business growth.
