Position: LPN Nights - LTC/SNF

Number of Weeks: 13
Shift: 12 hour shifts 7p-7a, Bi-weekly pay period, 3-4 shifts per week

Job Responsibilities
  • As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for managing a bed Long Term Care Unit or a 17-20 bed Skilled Nursing Unit at our Long Term Care and Rehabilitation facility.
  • You will provide daily treatments, administer medications as needed, and document care on residents.
  • You will supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) assigned to work on the unit caring for the same LTC residents or 17 patients.
  • You will communicate with families and physicians about the care needs of the residents under your care.
  • We maintain according to CDC recommendations with the current pandemic of COVID-19, there may be a chance that you will be taking care of positive COVID-19 patients.
  • As a Primary Stroke Center accredited by The Joint Commission, it is required that each nurse (RN & LPN) completes a NIHSS annually to fulfill our standards set by The Joint Commission.
