Offshore Installation Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the installation and commissioning of offshore oil and gas facilities. As an Offshore Installation Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising hook-up activities, ensuring seamless integration from construction to commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans and work packs, aligning with project schedules and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project management, installation, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Oversee offshore hook-up operations, managing teams of offshore personnel and contractors.
  • Ensure all hook-up activities adhere to technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mobilize hook-up equipment, materials, and personnel to offshore sites.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety reviews to ensure safe operations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Prepare progress reports, tracking achievements and identifying deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during all phases of hook-up.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in offshore hook-up engineering, with proven expertise in oil & gas facility installations.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore hook-up procedures, including structural, piping, electrical, and instrumentation installations.
  • Experience in developing work packs and coordinating logistics.
  • Familiarity with relevant offshore codes and standards such as API, DNV, and ISO.
  • Proven experience working in offshore environments with an understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing technical and operational challenges.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interface with clients, contractors, and offshore teams.

Salary Estimate: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
