As a key member of our subsea engineering group, you will be responsible for performing installation analysis activities associated with subsea engineering, including transportation and installation of PLETs, PLEMs, ILTs, and Manifolds. Your tasks will also involve the analysis of installation of flexibles flow-lines, umbilicals, risers, and rigid spools (SURF).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis for various offshore installation activities, subsea structure installation, and develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic, hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP).
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of related health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Utilize installation analysis software (Orcaflex, MOSES, Flexcom, Deeplines, Offpipe, etc.) to support project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Support the development of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
  • Contribute to the development of professional training, certification, or membership in relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of offshore installation activities, subsea structure installation, and related engineering disciplines.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure that the project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology degree in Naval, Civil, Mechanical, or any other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • 7+ years of experience in installation analysis, preferably using Orcaflex.
  • PREFERRED: Engineering Registration UPDA or at least qualified for registration.
