We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Controller to join our team at SPIE Doha. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies to support our operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Verify the accuracy of material receipts and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Raise purchase requests for materials, tools, and equipment to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues related to material shortages, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure that materials are properly stored, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
  • Initiate and coordinate with project control teams to ensure that all necessary certifications, calibrations, and testing are completed for equipment and materials.
  • Advise project teams on material availability and tracking, and coordinate with offshore teams to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Work with the E&C warehouse material controller to transfer materials and update inventory records.
  • Initiate and coordinate with warehouse and MRP teams to update work orders and stock transfer orders as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management.
