Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Coordinator to join our team at lxbfYeaa. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site construction/installation works, participating in constructability reviews, and managing construction risk management. They will also coordinate and control the mobilization of contractors, facilitate the issuance of necessary permits, and verify and endorse PTW as operating authority.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Supervise site construction/installation works and ensure compliance with Scope of Work, approved Engineering documents, and Specifications.
  2. Participate in constructability reviews and provide input on construction plans and schedules.
  3. Manage construction risks and work closely with Project Engineers to mitigate potential issues.
  4. Review contractors' construction plans and method statements, and inspect completed project work.
  5. Coordinate and control the mobilization of contractors, including lay down areas, and facilitate the issuance of necessary permits and gate passes.
  6. Verify and endorse PTW as operating authority prior to commencing daily site activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess a B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University or Diploma in relevant engineering Discipline with extensive construction-related experience. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of the oil & gas industry is required. Strong skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution, and implementation of construction industry best practices are essential.

Work Schedule and Location:

This is a 9 Hours / 6 Days position with a possible extension. The location of the role is Qatar.
