Job Summary

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team in Qatar. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the supply chain and logistics operations in Qatar. You will coordinate with logistics and warehouse operations and employees to direct daily supply chain operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills. You will be responsible for ensuring timely receipt of products from suppliers in accordance with purchase order requirements, while also monitoring and managing all logistics functions and optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Submit requests, track, and receive material to perform maintenance, repairs, and service calls in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare purchase request documents and micropurchases to support existing and forecasted requirements.
  • Analyze transportation costs, parts procurement, backorders, and delivery procedures to optimize logistics operations.
  • Implement Activity Register and track product flow from origin to final delivery.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and integrate learning from customers, competitors, and industry groups to continuously improve competitive position.
  • Track all material requisitions throughout the acquisition process and maintain, organize, and clean warehouse space.
  • Use inventory control procedures to examine and determine shortage quantities, document daily deliveries, analyze, and make recommendations on suppliers, update systems, and reports.
  • Conduct all job duties outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to ensure professional and quality services are provided to the customer in accordance with program requirements while maintaining safety as the highest priority.
Requirements
  • 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field, or 10 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Purchasing and requisitioning non-standard commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material.
  • Transportation, International Shipping, and Import/Export Procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Valid driver's license and current passport.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to successfully pass CENTCOM medical requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
  • Clearance: Must have possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.
  • Relevant overseas experience preferably in the Middle East with knowledge of local culture and customs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules while maintaining performance standards.

This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach degrees Fahrenheit / 5055 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including but not limited to heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
