Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the FM Operations Manager to manage MEP aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to in-house technicians, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Liaise with HVAC and MEP contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of cooling-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Work closely with the FM Operations Manager to develop strategic plans for asset installation, replacement, and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Chairman's Office Manager, ensuring timely communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Support the projects department on HVAC and MEP aspects of new projects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Review and provide input on HVAC and MEP design drawings, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Monitor the supply and installation of HVAC systems, ensuring quality and timely completion.
  • Liaise with consultants during project supervision, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
  • Take ownership of newly fitted spaces or constructed buildings, working closely with Facility Managers to ensure smooth handover.
  • Project manage, supervise, and coordinate the work of contractors for SHM, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent issues, providing effective solutions and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC field, including other MEP systems.
  • Strong understanding of working with VVIPs and customer service.
  • UPDA Registration, QCD Registration, NFPA membership, CFPS certification, or HSEQ certification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
  • Experience with project lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Qatar Driving License is preferred.
