Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Support Specialist to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our government furnished equipment and providing technical support to our personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on all government furnished equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with AlDE representatives to ensure timely access to FMV feeds and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Manage software and hardware updates for CPIE systems, communicating effectively with CPIE leadership to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure video feeds are accessible via SIPR, SIPR-REL, and/or BICES as required by the mission, and provide technical support for CPIE VIC/briefing systems and other IT systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of network/desktop changes and configuration management.
  • Coordinate account creation for new personnel and provide technical support for existing account users.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or Technology, or three years of relevant experience with CompTIA Networks+ or equivalent certification.
  • At least 3 years' experience with FMV dissemination tools and systems.
  • Familiarity with FMV exploitation tools such as AIMES, ViDex, or equivalents across multiple classified networks.
Desired Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category, with at least 2 years of experience within the last 2 years.
