Job Description

The successful candidate will provide discipline-specific design and drafting services that meet project requirements and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • To provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering, and construction.
  • Preparation and checking of piping designs, layouts, and deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, Mechanical Package Drawings, 3D Models in PDS, Piping Arrangement Drawings, Piping Isometrics, Material Take-Offs, Electrical or Instrument Cable layouts etc.

Apart from these key responsibilities, the role involves interdisciplinary checks of civil/structural/piping/mechanical/electrical/instrumentation drawings, reviewing vendor drawings for equipment/package items, producing 2D drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation, coordinating activities related to the discipline, and preparing model/construction review presentations.

The ideal candidate should have strong commitment to safety, proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, ability to work to an agreed scope, budget, and schedule, and experience in brownfield, conceptual, FEED, and detailed design.
