We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Officer to join our Engine Shop Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective manpower rostering and allocation strategies to ensure the smooth operation of our Engine Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate manpower rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels for scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
  • Manage and approve leaves, extended leaves, sick leaves, and emergency leaves in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Training department to schedule required training for engine facility staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of staff competency assessments and authorization matrices.
  • Arrange duty travel and assign manpower to support AOG situations in coordination with the Engine Facility Manager or Supervisor.
  • Support the Planning Engineer in data collection and analysis related to staff leaves, training, and duty travel.
  • Perform administrative functions related to engine facility operations, including arranging duty travels, finance approval requests, and stationery.
  • Issue monthly authorization expiry notifications to concerned staff to prevent regulatory noncompliance.
  • Arrange business meetings and duty travels for Engine Facility management and staff as required.
  • Process QR IDs and airport entry passes for 3rd party staff working at the Engine Facility.
  • Track 3rd party staff attendance and process their salaries in coordination with the 3rd party admin.
Requirements
  • High school qualification or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience in an Engine Shop, or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • General knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance environment constraints, and CAME/Part145 regulations.
  • Command of the English language (read/write) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project.
  • Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment and good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
