Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Servicing Engineer to join our team at Qatar Airways. As an Equipment Servicing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standard of aircraft equipment maintenance tasks are carried out under supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess a trade or vocational qualification in Aircraft Maintenance and have a minimum of 3+ years of job-related experience. Strong English language and communication skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct scheduled daily, monthly, and annual periodic checks on all aircraft equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent issues.
  2. Operate aircraft equipment or tooling to accomplish maintenance tasks and maintain serviceability.
  3. Address and resolve maintenance tasks escalated by the Assistant Mechanic following established protocols.
  4. Examine and inspect equipment components for cracks, breaks, or leaks and repair accordingly.
  5. Report and escalate major repair work needed to the Shift Leader following established protocols.
  6. Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.

Requirements:

  • Trade or vocational qualification in Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Minimum 3+ years of job-related experience.
  • Strong English language and communication skills.
