About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Instrumentation Control Systems Specialist to join our team in Qatar or South Korea.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of engineering dossiers with robust ICSS engineering definitions and fit-for-purpose designs that meet the requirements of our company standards, project basis of design, and SOR.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage project ICSS discipline documents to ensure compliance with standards and contractual requirements.
  • Support project studies and meetings related to ICSS disciplines as per project-approved gate levels and design maturity.
  • Identify potential risks and scope changes, and conduct initial impact assessments to provide detailed information to the ICSS lead.

Requirements:

  • An engineering degree in Instrument and Control Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience as an ICSS Engineer in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong engineering knowledge of ICSS design and execution, package interfaces for control & safety systems, and tie-ins methodology on existing operating fields.
  • Computer literacy, especially in AVEVA products.
  • Excellent leadership skills and communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Total general specifications is a plus, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex and multicultural environment.
