Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical HSE Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned projects. This includes conducting Technical HSE Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.

You will ensure the required client technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental, and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work-scopes and while conducting Technical HSE Engineering activities. Reviewing technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices will also be a part of your role.

We require the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered/Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Technical HSE Engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
  • Fluency in English with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentations.
