We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team at Bounty Hunter World. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of infrastructure and construction projects in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' experience in operational safety, with thorough knowledge of various safety regulations, standards, and procedures. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical support to ensure contractor compliance with established HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities for all areas of work covered in HSE aspects of Major Projects.
  • Responsible for monitoring related activities within project sites, conducting daily inspections, and ensuring work is in line with approved JSA, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, and Permit to Work System.
  • Identify and implement risk reduction measures in all areas and phases of construction.
  • Participate in checking and reviewing method statements, JSA's, safety certifications, and other related documents submitted by contractors/project consultants.
  • Provide inputs to Senior HSE Engineer for the implementation of Project HSE Performance Monitoring, HSE Objectives and Initiatives, HSE related procedures, guidelines, standards, and policies.
  • Monitor implementation of HSE Legal requirements, regulatory bodies, laws and regulations, and State of Qatar-ratified international conventions and protocols.
  • Participate in review of contractors HSE documentations to ensure contractors are compliant with HSE requirements.
  • Carry out incident investigation, reporting, and implementation of close-out of preventive and corrective actions of incidents/accidents that occur within projects.
  • Conduct site safety meetings and HSE awareness amongst QP project staff and Contractors.
