About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IFEC Quality Officer to join our Product Development and Design Team at Qatar Airways Group.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Line Manager in managing the overall strategy for our Oryx One IFEC product, ensuring we remain at the forefront of in-flight entertainment offerings to our diverse passenger demographic.

Your primary focus will be on evaluating and assessing the performance of various IFE components, including movies, TV programs, audio, games, interactive GUI designs, apps, boarding music, airshow moving maps, TVCs, PAs, and IFE logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update all IFE-related digital touchpoints with new assets as per monthly media requirements, including onboard IFE systems, IFE website, OryxOne app, and streaming platforms.
  • Liaise with stakeholders for provision of QR digital assets and associated documents to ensure timely implementation onboard Qatar Airways' various IFE systems.
  • Coordinate with IFE OEMs and CSPs to manage IFE content operational requirements.
  • Support Line Manager in quality checks of software application testing protocols (ATP) and ensure timely rollout of software to all operational passenger fleets.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of the Connectivity Portal and provide feedback to management.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with best practices in global IFE content offering, pricing models, innovations, and partnerships.
  • Guide and monitor staff supporting IFE content logistics and operations.
  • Manage external suppliers and QR internal stakeholders to ensure adequate administrative support.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification of High school/ Diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of job-related experience.
  • Preferably with previous experience working in a media and entertainment company.
  • Extensive knowledge with administration and coordination.
  • Pro-active and good attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office software.
