Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Strategist to join our team at MicroSysX. As a Product Strategist, you will be responsible for defining and executing product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive business growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market opportunities.
  2. SDLC Management: Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring seamless transitions from requirements gathering through to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  3. Application Architecture: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of application architecture, including front-end and back-end interfaces, databases, and cloud services.
  4. API Integration: Work with technical teams to define API requirements, ensure integration quality, and oversee the API lifecycle management.
  5. User-Centric Design: Utilize design tools to create high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and enhance the user experience.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure product requirements are clearly defined and executed effectively.
  7. Agile Product Development: Serve as the product owner in Agile teams, writing user stories, prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring clarity of product requirements.
  8. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze competitive products to identify new opportunities and improvements.
  9. Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics to track product performance, measure success, and make informed decisions on product iterations.
  10. Technical Communication: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
  11. Quality Assurance & Testing: Work with QA teams to develop acceptance criteria and ensure that products meet quality standards before release.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  2. 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in technology or software development environments.
  3. Proven experience managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  4. Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and both front-end and back-end interfaces.
  5. Proficiency in design tools.
  6. Experience with Agile methodologies and acting as a product owner.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical teams.
  8. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  9. Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence) and data analytics tools.
