Contract Administration Specialist

As a Contract Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts are administered in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
About the Role- You will be responsible for reviewing, updating, and monitoring project contracts and adherence to Company's existing commercial procedures.
- Compiling, implementing, and monitoring of Training and Development Plans.
- Ensuring construction contracts and professional services agreements are administered appropriately.
- Resolution of major issues resulting from the review of Contractor's Cost / progress reports.
- BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
- A post-graduate qualification in law or dispute resolution preferred but not essential.
- Chartered Membership of the RICS or equivalent (suitably experienced professionals may be considered).
- Must have a minimum of 18 years post graduate experience.
- Worked in the capacity of Commercial Expert / Associate Director within a Professional Consultancy or Client organization (Contracting background may also be considered).
- A proven track record of resolving major complex claims and disputes.
- Preferably, have minimum 6 years experience in the Gulf region.
- Experience in heavy civils and major building projects.
- Knowledge and experience of procurement methods for consultancy and construction contracts.
- Well versed in International Conditions of Contract and law.
- A comprehensive, well-rounded knowledge understanding of contract principles / administration.
- Experience in Expert Determination and Expert Witness.
- Good experience of construction technology and on-site activities.
- Highly motivated self-driven with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- The ability to write complex reports in simplistic format.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
