The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tenders and providing front-end sales support to meet the objectives of our overall business plans and strategies.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Receiving enquiries from sales, operations, management, or customers and acknowledging receipt.
  • Reviewing commercial terms and work scope, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure bid submission deadlines are met.
  • Coordinating with sales teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Liaising with operations teams to determine repair and overhaul timescales, parts and repair requirements.
  • Coordinating with vendors to obtain 3rd party materials and subcontract quotations.
  • Producing costing sheets for review with operations, finance, and sales teams.
  • Preparing quotations for additional work identified during order execution.
  • Ensuring tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have necessary sign-off in accordance with delegation of authority guidelines.
  • Ensuring Order Entry documentation is completed in accordance with handover guidelines and procedures and company KPIs.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
  • Relevant experience within Pump/Rotating Equipment industry;
  • Good understanding of pump machinery, assembly, and manufacturing processes;
  • Experience of dealing with rotating equipment repair and overhaul tenders;
  • Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment;
  • Ability to act independently;
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
