Pricing Specialist Job Description

As a Pricing Specialist at lxbfYeaa, you will play a crucial role in the Material Control unit of QACC. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the review and analysis of all cost and pricing-related calculations. You will also conduct reviews of costing and pricing performed by team members to ensure that all prices provided to customers are accurate and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost comparisons for recipe items as requested by customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure management approvals are obtained as required for prices and provide necessary information to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform pricing for individual laundry items for all customers and provide prices to the QACC Customer Services team for customer approval.
  • Lead the design and implementation of an overall pricing strategy framework for the business, integral to customer-initiated catering and service bidding processes.
  • Assist internal stakeholders in learning and familiarization of overall pricing and costing requirements.
  • Update prices in JD Edwards after customer approval with proper effective dates.
  • Perform ad-hoc flight costing exercises and provide prices to QACC internal departments for proper billing and charging processes.
  • Plan random pricing audits within QACC database and systems, document, and validate audits conducted by team members for accurate billing to customers.
  • Review RFRC and RFC calculations performed by team members to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze and review costing/pricing performed by team members, ensuring accurate application of pricing logics and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of job-related experience.
  • Command of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge of software like JD Edwards, Oracle, and/or SAP.
  • Knowledge of food industry practices.
