About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical support for handheld devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized technical support to end users for configuration, diagnosis, and upgrading of company-provided applications and services on mobile devices.
  • Assist with device issuance and receipt processes, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Respond to technical inquiries and issues via various communication channels, delivering accurate and timely assistance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on devices, including iPhones, iPads, and accessories.
  • Document user interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in internal systems, providing detailed reports and feedback to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with team members and specialists to ensure data accuracy and reliability on device transactions recorded in IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience or High School qualification with a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience.
  • ITIL certification or an IT Support Professional Certification in device management is preferred.
  • Proven experience in mobile device support, procurement, inventory management, asset management, and IT service desk/systems support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical users.
