Key Responsibilities:
  • Merchandising Strategy Development: Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company objectives, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock, staying ahead of the competition.
  • Collaboration and Negotiation: Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales, ensuring the best possible outcomes for Rafhealth.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products in an attractive and appealing manner, creating an engaging in-store experience.
  • Store Layout and Inventory Management: Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.
  • Financial Planning: Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clear-outs, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Customer and Channel Partner Relationships: Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Industry Knowledge: Remain up to date with industry best practices, staying ahead of the competition and ensuring Rafhealth remains a leader in the market.
  • Call Schedule and Reporting: Determine call schedule by reviewing priorities with supervisor, discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes, and complete call reports by observing display and pricing of competitors' products.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory, observing inventory levels, prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low, and arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
  • Quality and Reputation: Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards, enhancing merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
