Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble electric motors, including motor coolers.
  • Replace motor bearings, using proper handling techniques and tools for different bearing types.
  • Align motor shafts and balance rotors to ensure smooth operation post-repair.
  • Diagnose motor failures, including bearing failures, winding faults, and insulation issues.
  • Understand motor components, including stators, rotors, shafts, end shields, fans, and cooling systems.
  • Use specialized tools, such as bearing pullers, hydraulic presses, dynamic balancing machines, and laser alignment systems.
  • Implement safety protocols when handling heavy machinery and electrical equipment.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical expertise in electric motor disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly processes.
