About the Role

\

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Qatar. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and execution of civil engineering projects in the Oil and Gas sector. Your expertise will drive the delivery of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project execution plans, oversee the development of detailed calculations, civil engineering datasheets, and drawings, and ensure that all aspects of project management are executed in accordance with company procedures.

You will also be expected to supervise less experienced engineers, provide guidance and support as needed, and contribute to the growth and development of the team. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project execution plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation;\
  • Manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept to completion;\
  • Oversee the development of detailed calculations, civil engineering datasheets, and drawings to specify the civil engineering requirements of projects;\
  • Ensure that all aspects of project management are executed in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices;\
  • Supervise less experienced engineers and provide guidance and support as needed;\
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team by sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices.\

Requirements

\
  • \
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;\
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in oil and gas projects;\
  • Enrolled on the Register of Engineers in the State of Qatar, Grade A Category; or Chartered Engineer status;\
  • Proven track record of success in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients;\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and vendors;\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork;\
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.\
